Since 1892, thousands of people have flocked to the Holmenkollen Ski Festival every year to witness the epic ski jumping competition. The 1952 Winter Olympics were held at this stunning location, as were a number of national and international ski competitions over the years. The on-site Holmenkollen Ski Museum is the oldest ski museum existing today and exhibits the earliest incarnations of the sport dating back thousands of years.
