A top equestrian event for posh horsey people, the Dublin Horse Show brings together competition by day and partying by night. The world's best show jumpers show off kick up for prizes through out the week, and the events cumulate in the Nations Cup, with the Aga Khan Trophy handed out on the last day of the show. Thursday is an informal competition in its own right, dubbed Ladies Day, when women parade big, stylish derby hats and gowns for the fashion conscious. There is also wine, food, and dancing.
