Nothing like flying a plane and everything to do with multi-tasking, flying a helicopter is a challenge, and ultimately a fabulous thrill. The pilot is in control of the angle of the blades, their pitch and the torque created by them, so you'll have to forget everything you know about driving a car, or even flying a plane, and start again.

Once you have mastered the controls, the world of intimate communication between human and machine opens up for you; you are in touch not only with the power of the helicopter but the forces of nature on which your flight depends, and you begin to understand why helicopters are favoured over planes for military, rescue, news reporting, filming and photographic purposes.

With expert tuition, you can get off the ground and test your skills within an hour.
