An innovative way to combine your favourite rock and watersports with some beautiful and varied scenery, coasteering is a versatile pursuit and perfect for thrillseekers of any skill level, on any timescale.

Pick and choose from caving, rock-scrambling, cliff-climbing, cliff-jumping and canyoning. You will need a helmet, a life jacket and a wet suite, and if you are inexperienced, choose a good local training and equipment-provider. There are several great providers and perfect sites around Newquay.

Keeping away from the beaten track is a large part of the appeal of coasteering, and the activities involved will often see you accompanied by nobody but a few seagulls and any friends you choose to bring, and surrounded by beautiful blue seas and towering, gorse-clad cliffs.
