Palau diving highlights

Listed under Diving in Palau.

Most people would put Palau in their top ten diving destinations, its got warm water, good visibility (50 - 60 metres) and reams to look at as well as lots and lots of colour from the bright blue water to the critters, some of whom are neon! The main spots are Blue Corner, Blue Hole, Peleliu, German Channel, Turtle Cove and Chandelier Caves and all the guide books say you’re getting possibly access to a thousand different species per dive. Sharks, turtles, rays, dolphins, hard and soft corals, eels - you name it and it’s probably here. There are also a couple of good WW2 wrecks and heaps of interesting rock formations (have a look at the photos of the Blue Hole. The main downside is that most divers have it on their list of things to do so you’re going to see other boats and there are going to be other people in the water around you.
