Made up of four reefs the straits are home to gorgonians, nurse sharks, white tip reef sharks and soft corals.
Unpredictable currents around the reefs and steep drop offs make this a site more suited to experienced divers.
The water is clear and the four reefs and their marine inhabitants are visible from above the water. Further south is the more crowded marine park and shark observatory, Ras Mohammed.
