The main attraction of this area are the four giant iron ore carriers sunk by German U boats in 1942. The cold water here has kept them well preserved and they rest in about 20 - 45m of water, covered in anemones and swarming with fish.

You can also dive in a whale bone graveyard left over from when whale hunting was permitted in the region. This is a cold water area and it’s possible to dive all year round, but the summer is probably better as there is a chance you will see a humpback whale.
