This site is one of the best known in the Maldives – for its reef overhangs, crevices and caves which are decorated with large sea fans and attract some interesting inhabitants. The whole reef is a garden of yellow, blue and orange soft corals, which the sea fans protrude out of.

Eagle rays, tunas, barracudas, reef sharks and other large reef fish come on down to snack on the smaller, brightly coloured reef fish who dart around amongst the corals.

The unpredictable currents which draw the fish also make this site better suited to experienced divers.
