It is a major challenge. Very few humna beings have been able to cross this biggest desert in the world by their own power, but the Sahara is an extra ordinary beautiful place, the colours, the majestic sand dunes, the valleys, the dry gorges and the great people one encounters, like le homme bleu, the Tuareg. This is no doubt one of the most beautiful bike rides tha can be done. But extremely dangerous, due to the hardships, heat and lack of water.
