Family friendly Mountain Biking in the South Tyrol

Listed under Cycling in Bolzano, Italy.

The mountainous terrain of the south Tyrol region is perfect to provide a real challenge for a family of seasoned cyclists, or just a lot of fun for a family who want to have a laugh and get outdoors to soak up a bit of sun. You can plan your own route depending on your competency as a cyclist, or employ a tour guide who will lead you and your family up to the most spectacular look out points, show you hidden trails and guide you through biking technique that will up your game and enable you and your family to cover even more challenging terrain. You can follow the tracks of Giro d’Italia racers across the Dolomite Passes, or meander through vineyards and orchards, choose to take your time or speed over the landscape. Biking holidays can be teamed up with kids activities, climbing, swimming or even a couple of hours relaxing in a spa, which after all that time spent in the saddle, you might need.
