From Tucuman to the Bolivian boarder on a bike

Listed under Cycling in Tucumán, Argentina.

From Tucuman to the Bolivian border, you'll pass through a mind-blowing array of ecosystems and cultures, gawking at the majesty of the Andes while staying in easy-to-ride valleys.  Visit the deserted Inca ruins of Quilmes before heading into the wine country around Cafayate.  Salta, the biggest city in the region, is Argentina's best-preserved colonial city and heart of its native culture.  Also on the route are Jujuy and Purmamarca, with its famous seven-coloured hill. Best in fall or spring.
