This is a beautiful cycling region with many paths and itineraries for the adventurous rider and the view is the main reward. One of the main trails is the Lake Minnewanka Trail in Banff National Park which circuit’s the bright blue lake and the nearby Ghost Lakes via Devil’s Gap. If lucky you’ll see elk and mountain sheep as well and the stunning mountain scenery. The going can be bumpy and rocky and this is the wilderness so you need to bring everything you need on your bike. Banff is a good centre for cycling trips, there are lots of day trips you can take out from there to interesting local, natural sites and you’ll enjoy comfortable accommodation.

Lake Minnewanka A shoreline at Banff, Alberta, Canada. Early May to June appears as a busy trail for hikers at least from the beginning point of Lake Minnewanka. Few creek crosses the lake that creates a scenic beauty. Hikers not only ride but enjoy the natural beauty of the lake side. Another trail, Devil’s Gap, is found there that might amuse the hikers. Lake Minnewanka will give you guys a great entertainment. Lake Minnewanka Trail

This is one of the best tracks in Banff. The views are spectacular and the ride is challenging crossing sections of scree and climbing several steep slopes. Bear in mind that you have to come back along the same route so don’t wear yourself out too much on the forward journey.
