Studying the structure and organisation of the company, Frank Lloyd Wright built this structure to function as much as possible to his client’s needs. And thousands of people have delighted in the spectacular ‘bird-cage’ elevators. Corporate hierarchy was applied to height, directors at the top, overseeing all below, as almost all offices ought. The Research and Development Tower, a 14-floor tower is one of the tallest structures ever built where there is no visible support under the outer walls, using the cantilever principle. Artists and photographers have captured the building's sweeping curves and geometric designs on canvas and film.
