Slovenia has only 47kms of golden Adriatic coastline, just along from Italy’s Bay of Trieste. Koper, the country’s main port, is the regions main city and has important rail and road links as well. Izola, to the south is a much more traditional fishing village, while Strunjan, a little further along is more of a health spa town.
