The San-in Coast, much of which is national park, stretches from Wakasa Bay's convoluted coastline in the east to the sand dunes of Totoori in the west. In between lies some of the prettiest coastal scenery in Japan, including the Tango peninsula, the picturesque rocky coves of Uradome, the quaint hot spring town of Kinosaki, and the pine-covered sandbar known as Amanohashidate ("bridge across heaven") - one of the traditional "Three Scenic Views" of Japan. In spring the flowers blooming everywhere make the region especially lovely. Beautiful beaches are scattered throughout, some quite secluded.

Nice photos and writing! Thank you. I enjoyed visiting Japan myself.

Just back from that country at the end of July. Charming and beautiful region on earth.
