This park runs along Venezuela’s north east Caribbean coastline including the graceful cliffs, and tiny gulfs and inlets between Puerto La Cruz and Cumana as well as the water and 32 islands off the shore. More than half of the park is ocean, protecting the beautiful coral gardens on the sea floor. Sandy beaches and lush valleys alternate with sheer, barren cliff faces to keep it interesting for land based exploration.
