The Krabi peninsula is one of a very few places on earth where dramatic jungle-clad karst towers rise from beaches of dazzling white sand. The stunning beaches of Railey and Ao Phra Nang are accessible only by boat. The scenery in this area is breathtaking. Huge limestone cliffs and pinnacles make this area a world-famous rockclimbing destination. The Princess Lagoon at the bottom of a 200-meter deep sinkhole can be reached via a tricky descent using a handline. The nearby Princess Cave is one of many caves in the area. This large cavern, right on the beach, is a sacred site to the local fishermen. A shrine in the entrance is decorated with dozens of brightly painted wooden phalluses as offerings to the goddess of the cave. The passage leads steeply upward (with a few minor climbs required) into a large chamber containing a huge flowstone column.

I''m thinking of going to Krabi in late october for 2 weeks, i'm worried about the weather that time of the year. I know its still rainy season but how bad is it really???? Would i be better to go somewhere else to be sure of good sunshine?????
