The verdant coast of Asturias is aptly named the “Green Coast.” One of Spain’s most scenic regions, Costa Verde is dotted with towns and beaches where you can dive, snorkel, windsurf, or simply get a tan, including a beach for nudists. Several national parks lie just inland from the shore, easily accessed from Costa Verde and known for their great natural beauty and unique wildlife. UNESCO has added several monuments in Asturias, called the Monumentos de Oviedo y del Reino de Asturias, to its list of World Heritage sites.
