Listed under City Beach in Sydney, Australia.
Small and narrow, this beach has a very regular shaped scoop of sand seemingly ideal for volleyball or other sand/ball sports. Its cliffs keep it nicely sheltered so the beautiful bathers can keep their tans even all year round – this is a bathing beach not a surfing/ tourist beach like Bondi, one kilometre to the north, after a nice walk around the headland, or a surf lifesaving practice beach like Bronte 100 metres to the south. Come here for a lazy day on the sand looking at other lovelies doing the same or people playing ball sports who also want to get looked at.
On the route of the 'Sculptures by the Sea' annual exhibition of outdoor friendly art, this is a pretty beach in a pretty nice part of Sydney.
