Scarborough Beach

Scarborough is one of Perth's nicest beaches – and it's got a lot of nice beaches. The sand is particularly white and soft and the water curves gently on entry, so it's good for families too. But it's also got a wind surfing and kitesurfing centre, so it's not al peace and quiet - it's long enough to fit all this in comfortably though. If you don't want to be bothered find yourself a spot in the dunes.

Scarborough beach does tend to get crowded with young folk during the summer months, whereas other beaches remain quieter.
