The foremost Jesuit cathedral in Shanghai, Xujiahui also goes by the name of St. Ignatius. Built in 1906, the Gothic structure is adorned with gargoyles, stained glass windows, and paintings of the Last Supper and Stations of the Cross. It has the capacity to fit over 2500 worshippers and visitors, and free services are held every Sunday.
