The city of Uppsala is one the largest in Sweden, known for many

important historical buildings. Kings, scientists, and even the revered

Saint Eric are buried on the grounds of the city’s famous medieval

cathedral.  While younger than the cathedral, Uppsala University was

founded in 1477 and is the oldest Scandinavian university.
