Listed under Churches & Abbeys in Albi, France.
This Southern Gothic cathedral is said to be the world's largest brick structure and was constructed from the 11th to the 14th century. Its fortress-like appearance makes it a very unusual looking cathedral, attractively situated on the banks of the Tarn River.
