Construction on Domkyrkan, or the Lund Cathedral, began in 1080. Nearly a thousand years later, it is still an active site of worship revered for its beautiful religious artifacts. The astronomical clock, Horologium mirabil Lundense , was built in 1424 and is one the cathedral’s most beloved objects. Additionally, the grand organ and underground crypt add intrigue and splendor to an already magnificent structure.
