A Gothic style cathedral from the 10th century, the Catedral de Leon was originally the palace of king Ordoño II. Future kings made substantial changes and additions to the cathedral’s structure, and now architectural designs spanning centuries can be spotted throughout the building. The cathedral’s museum boasts an impressive collection of international religious artwork.
