Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market
In recent years, the town has been pleasantly surprised with this market's popularity, so this year’s market will last longer and feature more stalls than before. An ice rink serves as the grand centrepiece of the Cathedral’s Inner Close, with 75 wooden chalets providing skaters with Christmas refreshments and handmade arts and crafts to peruse before or after skating. The impressive Winchester Cathedral, built in 1079 and well-known for its chantry chapels, oversees the Christmas Market, ensuring that the German-inspired holiday event is as authentic, fun, and festive as it can be.
