Listed under Christmas Markets in Kraków, Poland.
As Krakow begins to establish itself as a prominent tourist destination, its traditional Christmas Market soars in popularity. In Rynek Glowny Grand Square, the city centre of the Middle Ages and today, the market features carol singers, a Christmas tree, wooden market stalls, and massive barrels of mulled wine. Christmas cribs, a long standing tradition, abound in the market as well. Next to the market is Cloth Hall, a different sort of venue that sells exclusively Polish wares. A casual stroll through the middle of town will put you face to face with hundreds of years of history – both through the architecture and the Christmas traditions being practiced.
