Blenheim Palace celebrates “The Traditions of Christmas” throughout December, promoting the holiday season with lavish decorations and family entertainment. Christmas trees grown on the Palace grounds adorn the interior, along with gorgeous displays showing the history of time-honoured Christmas traditions.
The courtyards of the Palace get taken over in November by a giant craft show, delighting visitors with the variety and quality of its wares. Don’t worry if you miss the fair however; the Palace shops open in November and provide ample opportunities to find the perfect gift. On the first of December, Blenheim marks the start of Advent with a performance of Handel’s Messiah by the Blenheim Singers, and later in the week Christmas carols will be performed in the Great Court.
In addition, tours of the Palace are offered every day of the week except Sundays.
