The Germans invade Canterbury…or at least a German theme…when the Christmas Market comes to the medieval centre. Wafts of cooking bratwurst and roasting almonds will mingle with the flavous of your gluhwein and the rollick and roll of live music and creating a heady atmosphere of yule tidings to lull you though your Christmas shopping and you’ll easily come away with a Santa sack full of candles, jewellery, glass tree ornaments and the like.
