Listed under Christmas Markets in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
While it may be in England, Birmingham has a distinctly German atmosphere during the Christmas season. In fact, its holiday market is even called the Frankfurt Christmas Market. Set up in historic Victoria Square, over 90 stalls give it the prestige of being larger than any other authentic market not located in Austria or Germany, the birthplaces of this holiday tradition.
Not surprisingly, the place is known for its genuine German goods, particularly the delicious food. Birmingham’s Christmas Craft Market is put on during the same time and offers a more international selection of products. With the craft market taking place in Chamberlain Square, Birmingham’s two Christmas markets can be easily visited in the same outing.

They're yet to announce the dates for 2009, but last year it was held between the 13th of November and the 23rd of December. You would have thought Christmas Eve would be the busiest day, but apparently not - maybe they're really from Frankfurt and they have to get home in time to spend the big day with their families.
