There are only four tipis in this camp, laid out in an American Indian camp fire arrangement on a grassy natural mountain terrace overlooking the Pyranees rather than Monument Valley or the Grand Canyon. Each tipi sleeps four to six people, four in more comfort, complete with fluffy duvets, and the decoration sticks with the American Indian theme. This is a very peaceful spot near to Lordes and Trabés and within hiking distance of the Saugué Plateau and the Cirque de Gavarnie with their dramatic waterfalls and photogenic mountain scenery.

You have to share the site with small goats who seem to have colonised the area. If the goats and mountain views sound a bit too much like roughing it despite the promise of fluffy duvets you can always stay in the cottage, which has amenities closer to what you have at home.
