The Three Cliffs campsite near Swansea is one of those places that makes you glad of the world we live in, and at the same time jealous of having to share it. Wildflowers sway with vertigo at the views of the blue bay and the grassy limbs of land that stretch out into it. The campsite itself is a bit on the basic side, but with cheap working showers and helpful staff. For anyone with an anarchic streak the rules and regulations regarding space sharing with fellow campers are taken seriously, based on a car/tent/car/tent arrangement. Despite the inevitable popularity of such a good-looking site, Three Cliffs is a perfect place to pretend to ‘get away from it all’.
