Grinding the dirt tracks on a quad bike or abseiling down a mighty cliff is what it is all about at this adventure farm in northern South Africa. When you are completely exhausted from a day of play, a tent pitched on the edge of huge dam and unwinding in the African sunset perfects the experience. The area is generally tranquil and magical, situated in a valley with mountains and a river providing the perfect scenery. There are big trout damns for the avid fisherman and a game enclosure. There are many activities to choose from, the natural surroundings offering great opportunities for canyoning, tubing, mountain-biking and 4x4 tracks. Or perhaps gunning down a spouse in a paintball game is preferable. The farm offers a variety of accommodation, from chalets nestled in the foothills of the mountain to tented lodges on the banks of the dams. For a truly adventurous experience though, pitching your tent where you please is always a favourable option.
