Duma Tau is located under the shady covering of a forest of large mangosteen trees, close to the source of the Savute Channel. Duma Tau overlooks a large hippo filled lagoon and offers some of the most diverse wildlife viewing in Botswana. Savute Elephant Camp is set amidst towering acacia trees on the banks of the dry Savute Channel in a rugged, semi-arid, wilderness region of the Chobe National Park. Accommodation at Savute Elephant Camp is in 12 luxurious twin-bedded tents with private timber decks. Spacious en suite facilities have a his and hers vanity unit and a dressing room area.

Each tent in the safari camp is equipped with an electric heater, electric overhead fan and mosquito net. One of the features of the safari camp is its specially constructed "elephant proof" swimming pool. Game, which includes a resident pride of lion and rare wild dog, may be viewed from the large deck of the airy central lounge and dining area or from open safari vehicles during morning and evening drives. Savute Elephant Camp is known for its exciting year-round game viewing and excellent birdlife. A treasury of San rock paintings preserved at various sites a short distance from the safari camp, are a special attraction.
