Sausage Tree Camp, situated in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park is nestled among Sausage, Mopani and Winterthorn Trees on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The dining and bar tent overlooks meandering channels which help form a wetland in front of the camp and is home to the huge herds of hippo, elephant and buffalo. The small exclusive camp, which is owner-operated, holds 12 guests in six "bedouin style" tents. Open air en suite bathrooms with flush loo and running hot and cold water. Offering personalised guiding by professional safari guides to experience the pristine wildlife and track the lion, leopard and nocturnal species from both land and river. Activities include game drives [day and night] canoeing, walking, birding, boating and fishing. A unique camp in a unique location!
