Playa Montroig is a holiday camp type campsite, well stocked with entertainment and activities – beach in the morning, then tennis or mini golf, a spin in a pedalo, an excursion on a hired bike into town, then some time by the pools – the smaller one is heated - then hit the beach bar in the evening while the kids watch a the clowns, a magic show or puppets. The expectation is that you eat and drink onsite, but there are local towns, and that you use the camp's clean ribbon of beach.

A main road and a railway line runs though the park so though it's convenient for transport it's not good for peace and quiet. Pitches for b.y.o. accommodation is on the beach side of the tracks and the rental vans and mobile homes are on the other side.
