Seasoned safari travellers absolutely love the style of this wilderness camp. Perched on the edge of a bend in the Mwaleshi River, a tributary of the Luangwa. A lack of roads enhances the remoteness of this area of the North Luangwa National Park.

Situated 45 minutes walk or 15 minute drive from Mwaleshi airstrip, this camp offers a diverse experience in the heart of one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in Africa. All game-viewing is on foot, lead by Ernest Jacobs who is skilled in finding the large populations of lions, buffalo and Cookson Wildebeest that are endemic to this region.

4 hand crafted chalets built of reed accommodate 8 guests and all rooms have en-suite bathrooms with open-air showers, solar lighting, drinking water and mosquito nets. Heated water is available in the evenings and upon request.

Guests can view birdlife and game from their rooms and are able to walk out of the camp with the expertise of Ernest Jacobs on hand to locate the wildlife for them.
