Lying just North of the central Sereonera region of the Serengeti is the 15 tented rooms of Mbuzi Mawa
Very different to all of the other Serena properties, Mbuzi Mawa is a small lodge as opposed to a large hotel designed to fit in more with the authentic safari atmosphere than the larger hotel chains.
Described as a place of infinite calm surrounded by untamed majesty.... offering a timeless blend of classical safari rusticity this camp is typical of the world-class professionalism of Serena Safari Lodges, Resorts and Hotels. It is in a superb location, set below a huge granite kopje (outcrop) that towers above the camps and set in an area of the Serengeti that is home to the migration for parts of the year and has superb resident game for the remainder.
