Finding this campsite along the narrow north Loch Tay road is like stumbling upon a gem. The camping area itself is quite small, but with one of the most fantastic views of the Loch. It is almost impossible not to fall in love with the area. From your tent pitch, sunrise over the hills is not to be missed. The facilities are excellent: a clean and friendly kitchen for campers provides the necessities and more. The campsite is open the whole year, but it is still Scotland- camping in the notoriously icy winter is not my cup of tea. For the colder months (October- April) the site offers alternative accommodation, such as cosy log cabins and tipi’s. There are also a wide range of activities on offer at the marina, such as horse-riding, fishing and cycling. However its completely forgivable to just pull out a deckchair and chill in the fresh Scottish air.
