Little Governors’, like its bigger brother, has long been one of the camps to stay in in the Mara and comprises 17 large safari tents dotted along the banks of the river. Each tent has running hot and cold water, flush loos, good sized double or twin beds and a veranda on which to relax during the afternoons. As with the rest of the lodges in the group, there is game literally on the doorstep which is why the camp has been used for close to a decade by the BBC’s Big Cat Diaries.
