There's a vineyard near this camp which is worth visiting, there's also a charming looking little village with a restaurant that gets excellent reviews and it's near the Chateau de Chambord. A good holiday here would also probably involve kayaking or boating on the Loire, hiring bikes and heading into Blois, strolling along the river banks, vine covered hills and though the town and swimming in the onsite pool.

These activities err towards the relaxing, rather than the active, and the lack of serious entertainment and bushed between each pitch means that by 10pm you have your own domain of peace and quiet – great if that's what you want.
