Untangling the children's stories you'd think it would be Peter Pan's Bay that Hook's House farm would overlook, but the open slopes of this working farm on the North Yorkshire coast has a view over Robin Hood's Bay and the sea in one direction, and the North York Moors National Park in the other. The children's story name isn't totally out of place, all the reviews agree that the owners are very friendly and that this site is a nice place to spend time, as well as use as a base to go on some long coastal walks or to go rockpooling at the beach which is a non perilous scramble down the hill.

At this site the showers and ice freezing service is included in the price. You can even bring your own horse. And ride it the five miles to Whitby or 20 miles to Scarborough.
