Dennis Cove Camping is a long-running establishment and they know how to keep a tidy ship. The campsite, 10 minutes walk away from Padstow is small, but well maintained and you’ll receive a warm welcome from the owners. The surrounding countryside is gentrified-cornish, popular with students and families. Rick Stein’s fish and chip shop is more than worth a look-in, especially if the restaurant menu seems a bit pricey. The showers can be a bit dribbly and are on a meter, so bring plenty of change and some patience. Overall, this is a top campsite with great views and friendly owners who will help you with anything, within reason. Dogs are welcome.
