This large and organised site is only a 20 minute drive from the beaches of the Atlantic, but it has its own ribbon of riverside beach as well if you didn't bring your car, just beyond the thick woods. If you did bring your car you can use it to visit some of the pretty nearby medieval or market towns, or pop over to the Channel Ports to have a wander round and pick up some fish. Or you could just stay on-site and go fishing there. Or horse riding, tennis, archery, canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, or swimming in one of the three outdoor pools, one heated, or the indoor pool with its spa and water slides...

Castels has 183 pitches, 99 fully serviced, and while it looks like a busy camp, it's pitches are supposed to be well enough spaced for some peace and quiet and some privacy.

Relaxed in beautiful countryside

This campsite is set in a very beautiful area of Brittany. Very Relaxing. Wonderful walks through the French countryside from the campsite, a river flows (good fishing)through it and last year there were otters, and salmon. Lots of activities for children, and as well as the outside pool with waterslides there is a large indoor pool with waterslides.
