In contrast with a lot of other campsites around Britain, Bay View Farm is unusually good value for money. £10 per night charge for tents is one of the lowest rates around and that includes the use of showers, washing up etc. You are on top of a hill, so keep your tent pinned down or you might find yourself blown halfway to the Channel Islands overnight. Views of Looe and its bay are a privilege, as is the seeming remoteness of the site itself; an out-of-the-way drive. Resident animals include some Shire horses and the sheriff/deputy duo of a keen Border collie called Sky, and a curious cat. The owners live overlooking the site and have a webcam set up so you can check how busy the site is before you turn up.
