In Scotland it does not get much better than loch-side camping. Badrallach Campsite is set on the north shore of Little Loch Broom and has all the right ingredients which make it a magical little spot. Not only is it peaceful and secluded, the views of the Loch and mountains are awesome. A narrow and twisting little road will bring you to the site, and although the site accommodates caravans, it is not certain the road will! The campsite has room for about 12 tents and is neat with adequate facilities. In the Summer months when the campsite is open, midges can be a problem but thankfully there is a coastal wind which mostly fends them off. There are canoes and boats for hire for trips out on the Loch and the surrounds have plenty of amazing walks to go on to explore some of the northern highlands. Strictly for nature lovers and best left for the summer months.
