5km long if slightly scruffy beach in the sleepy town of Terracina. Popular with day-tripping Romans and hordes of Italian tourists in 'ferragosto', so go in late August/early September. Popular off season with kitesurfers. But not a typical Med tourist trap, so decent prices and authentic Italian seaside atmosphere.
