Tabarka Beach is privy to some of Tunisia’s most beautiful sunsets. Flanked by a pretty old town topped by a fortified castle sitting on a hill, and behind that the Khroumerie Mountains, this beach has lovely views in both directions. Tabarka is less ‘touristy’ than some of the other resorts along this stretch of coast, preferred by backpackers and people looking for the ‘real Tunisia’.

As well as snapping photos visitors should also consider a snorkelling tip amongst the rocky outcrops below the castle which reach out towards the coral reef off shore.
