Son Bou has the longest stretch of uninterrupted beach on Menorca, a smooth arc of pale sand backed by sand dunes sprouting grass like alfalfa sprout hair. A raised wooden path links the three beach bars that share the customers along the coast who are otherwise enjoying the sun beds and water sports gear hire or just the beach-y natural surrounds. Despite the size it can get pretty busy.
Beware the strong currents along parts of this beach – there are life guards and flags to keep you safe and in the know.
