If Serena the word has nothing to do with serene then the beach certainly does. A deep protect inlet of flat calm is stirred up by the breakers of the Indian Ocean as they roll in on the horizon in a crooked white line of spray. The scoop of the bay continues the flatness of the sea onto a gentle rake of pale, ground almond sand and the breezes in the leaves of the palm trees are the only unpredictable movements…or at least that’s what the photos imply.
Near the National Marine Park, which means it’s kept in good nick. The resorts look nice but are supposedly good value, the general advice is “Try the fish.”.
